This article is created for setting up a meeting in Zoom.

Instructions

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

  2. Go to in https://www.zoom.us

  3. At the home page, click Sign in link

  4. At the Sign-in page, enter the username and password

  5. At the Meetings page, click Schedule a New Meeting button

  6. At the Schedule a Meeting page, enter the relevant information

    Note: The default configuration above has setup automatically however as this is a Zoom shared account, please ensure that:

    Registration: Untick required
    Meeting ID: Generate Automatically
    Video - Host: Off
    Video - Participant: Off
    Audio: Both
    Meeting options: Untick join before host option
    Meeting options: Untick mute participant upon entry option
    Meeting options: Tick enable waiting room option
    Meeting options: Untick only authenticated user can join option
    Meeting options: Untick record meeting automatically option
    Alternative hosts: [blank]

  7. Click the Save button

  8. At the Manage meeting page, review the meeting.

  9. On the left navigation, click Meetings button

  10. Under the Upcoming Meetings, ensure the meeting exist
