This article is created to outline the procedure for rebooting the Buffalo TeraStation as the machine is not accessible via HTTP access.

Instructions

Step-by-step guide:

  • Locate the device on the server rack. The IT Administrator will notify where the device sits.

  • Identify the machine

  • To reboot, press and hold the power circle button at the top left corner until hearing the beeping sound. The light will go off.

  • Press again the power circle button at the top left. You will see the console: System ROM booting …

  • Wait for a few minutes.

  • The status light:
    Power: Solid green
    LINK/ACT: Blinking green
    MESSAGE: Off
    ERROR: Off

  • Notify the IT administrator.
