KB2102021801 - How to add a printer manually via TCP/IP address

Click the Search button.

 

 

Under the search, type in the Control Panel.

Under the control panel, select the View By and change the Category to Large Icon or Small Icons.

Select the Devices and Printers.

Select the Add a printer option.

Under the Add a device window, select The printer that I want isn’t listed option.

Under the Add Printer window, select the Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname option.
Click the Next button.

Under Device type, select the TCP/IP Device.
Under hostname or IP address, type in: 192.168.10.41
Click the Next button.

Note: As type in the IP Address, the port name will type in automatically.

 

The printer has been added. Leave the default printer name.

Click the Next button.

Click the Print a test page button. Check the print.

Click the Finish button to complete.
